  1. Hi,
Can anyone turn up to the meetings or do you have to be a member?

    1. You can just turn up. All are welcome. Non-members pay £3 per meeting, or you can join at any meeting by paying the annual subscription of £15.

  2. We would love to turn up to the event on the 11th March on our Mills. Would this be okay?

  3. We would love to turn up to the event on the 11th March on our River Stour Mills. Would this be okay?

    1. Hi Mark, we would be delighted for you to join us. For non-members the fee is £3 per person or you can sign up at any point for annual membership at £15.

      Best wishes, Joan

  4. Hello, are these talks held upstairs at The Granary building? If yes, is there a lift? If not, please would you consider holding your events at a more accessible venue so those with mobility issues (including wheelchair users such as myself) can attend too?
    Thank you.

    1. Hello Gavin, yes, the talks are held upstairs in The Granary. We searched in vain last year for a replacement venue, but were unsuccessful. We need a downstairs room big enough for up to 80 members, but we also need parking. We narrowed it down to the Friends Meeting House in Sudbury and The Stephenson Centre in Cornard. Parking for the Meeting House is too far away for many of our very elderly members. At the Stephenson Centre we would have to put out, and away, up to 80 chairs ourselves – we cannot physically do this. In the Granary the chairs are dealt with by the caretaker. We are still looking!
      Joan
